Description

This is a pretty quick drawing I did of Katara from Avatar: the Last Airbender. It's a fave series right now, and I've been meaning to get started on some fanart for it (I'd signed up for it in the LJ fanart100 community). This is not one of the 100, but it's the first one I've done of her. Did use some printouts I had for reference, but the pose and everything was improvised. Out of proportion like crazy, but still satisfying first try.

Her head is a little small, but I like the pose idea, too. :aww:

I've only watched a few episodes of this show because it always seems to be reruns. :shakefist: Wait a minute... isn't she a Waterbender not an Airbender?
